Precautions for use of planetary reducer

Compared with other types of gear reducers, the planetary gear reducer is relatively small in size, which makes its installation more convenient and can cope with most production situations. In addition, its noise is small, and its accuracy is much better than that of the traditional reducer. With so many advantages mentioned above, it can be widely used in various mechanical industries, such as lifting, mining, transportation, construction, etc. Next, let's talk about the precautions when using the planetary reducer.
1. The planetary reducer must be installed with a breather cap. Before use, replace the plug at the highest position with an exhaust plug to ensure that the gas in the body is discharged when the reducer is running. If it is not replaced in time, the reducer will be operated for a long time, which will cause the gas in the reducer to expand the oil seal and cause the reducer to leak oil.
2. It is forbidden to hammer the planetary reducer on the output shaft of the reducer. The coupling, pulley, sprocket and other connecting parts cannot be directly hammered. Because the output shaft structure of the reducer can not withstand axial hammering, the screw can be screwed into the shaft end screw hole to press the connecting parts.
3. The lubricating oil of the planetary reducer shall be replaced in time. Special attention shall be paid to the first oil change. The lubricating oil of the reducer shall be replaced in time after the first operation of 300~400 hours, and then every 1500~2000 hours. In addition, the lubricating oil should be checked every half a month under the working conditions of harsh working environment, high temperature and large dust, and the lubricating oil should be replaced if there is dirt in the lubricating oil, so as to keep the lubricating oil clean, extend the service life of the reducer and improve economic benefits.

In industrial production, we must carry out regular maintenance and repair of mechanical parts to avoid sudden failure in use, so that it can maintain efficient operation and bring maximum benefits to the enterprise.

For the planetary reducer manufacturer, the efficiency test, life test and temperature rise test before the reducer leaves the factory are indispensable. The reducer test is an eddy current dynamometer composed of torque and speed sensor and eddy current brake as the simulated load. If it is a large reducer, the electric dynamometer with motor as the load can be considered. The most common one is the magnetic particle dynamometer with the magnetic particle brake as the simulated load. The final selection needs to be based on the reducer type and parameters.
